Rainwater harvesting filters use a chamber filled with filtering substances like fiber, coarse sand, and gravel layers. These substances remove debris and dirt from water and stop them from entering the storage tank or recharge structure.
A filter collector diverts 90% of rainwater to a storage tank through a 0.17 mm stainless steel mesh filter. The filter element is placed in the lower housing in angular motion. It creates cohesive force at low intensity and centrifugal force during high intensity of rainfall. This helps the filter element to automatically flush out the dirt and debris through the drain outlet.
